500 ml oval green bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.8%. Deep golden colour, moderate to low white head. Strong aroma of peat smoke / peated malts. The flavour is also dominated by peat smoke and ashes, with just a hint of fruity hops in the background, dry finish. Okay, but one bottle is enough.

Pours dark with a small head.
Nose shows heavy peated malt, with smoky, earthy and burnt rubber notes. Not much noticeable underneath that.
The heavy peat carries through as a flavour, initially dominating but eventually fading to reveal some caramel and light toffee.
Could use more carbonation.
Too much peat.

Amber body with a really thin white head. Big whiff of peat smoked malts in the nose. Leather, smoked meat, shoe polish, a bit of banana and other sweet fruits.
Peaty, smokey taste. Cured meats, caramel, and whisky flavours. Very little hop taste. Thin, somewhat weak body with a carbonation that is a bit too high. An interesting beer, but certainly not something I'd seem myself drinking often.
