Lots of thick foam that stays there for a while. This beer has a lot of foam. Great lacing too. The color is a deep ruby. Smell is spicy, umami. Reminds me of soy sauce, seeweed, miso. There are also notes of cloves and nutmeg. The taste is very similar with the smell, with miso, soy sauce and seeweed. But there is a kind of fruityness quality that stands out, with a distinctive belgian yeast spyciness. There is also a hint of smoked malt that wraps everything around. Even though it is a very foamy beer, the carbonation is right on target. Is a good winter warmer beer!
