Got a bottle of this from a friend. Poured into an oversized snifter.
Pours very thin, almost black in color with hardly any head.
Smells of alcohol, torrefied malts and almost chocolate.
Taste is very unpleasant. No body, feels like you're drinking black water with hints of dark chocolate.
Definitely not something I will be purchasing again in the near future.
So far, I've had both their first beers and they are not something you'd hope to see in your neighborhood as a new upcoming brewery. I will take a break from them and if they are still up and running in a year, then perhaps I should revisit.
