You have to give these guys an A for effort, but this really struck me as an epic fail. There was a huge presense of malt and maple syrup on the nose and palate, and the beer was sweet and nearly syrupy on the palate. The alchol may be only 6.3%, but it drinks like a beer with twice that level of alcohol... that's how sweet and cloying it was. Sampled at a recent bottle share, this was not one of the more popular items that night.

Thanks to Sharpski for this one. Seemed a bit too sweet and sticky for the style. Too much of a caramel aspect as well.
