From a bottle (#346/600), this is a bit of a gusher. It is super carbonated. Pours dark brown, almost black, with a huge head that just keeps bubbling.
The smell is bourbon, molasses, roasted malts, toasty oats, a little wood. Flavor is sweet and syrupy. Lots of bourbon, molasses, caramel, dark fruit. The over carbonation ruins this beer a little for me. It's hot and messy and just too much like pop rocks and soda going down my throat.
