Sampled on-tap at the brewpub.
This beer poured a clear, coffee-brown color with creamy, light-brown/tan foam that settled and coated the inside of the glass. The smell was lightly malty with a touch of hops. The taste was nicely malty with a bit of chocolate and a hint of caramel. The hoppiness was in good balance with the maltiness. The mouthfeel was smooth but crisp up front with medium body and good carbonation. It was dry overall but with a hint of sweetness in the finish, and with a light maltiness lingering. This was a good, easy drinking dunkel.
