This beer was coppery-brown in color, slightly cloudy (unfiltered), with nice white foam. The smell was malty. The taste was clean, with malt dominating, but with some hop bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel was smooth. Easy to drink. I liked this dark lager.
I was told: "It is a traditional beer from the southern part of Germany. We use hops with a high volume of bitterness and a low volume of hop-oil. This is unusual, but we like it ! 30% of our customers prefer this <uncommon> beer type."
