Tap (Hivernale): Poured a hazy bright golden color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of fruity ester with some peppery yeast notes with some candi sugar is quite enticing. Taste is a good balance mix between some candi sugar with some fruity ester and peppery yeast which offset some of the sugar with some solid Belgian malt also cutting though the residual sugar. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Solid interpretation of the style without re-writing the history book.
