A devilishly good delight. Our Temptress imperial milk stout, aged on coffee beans, vanilla, and spices within an oak bourbon barrel. She's quite the witchy woman.

Favorite beer from Lakewood brewery. Sweet and creamy with just enough pumpkin pie flavors going on. Really wish they would do a full bottle release.

Draft pour @ Lakewood
Black bodied with a thin brown head.
Coffee jumps out at me immediately until warming/opening. Underlying spices and sweetness. Nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, chocolate.
So much cinnamon on the taste. Sweet chocolate. Lingering coffee aftertaste.
Smooth with light carbonation. Heavy medium body.

Had at the release of BBT '14 at LakeWood Brewing. Poured from a tap into a BBT '14 snifter. Mouthfeel is a bit thin for the supposed barrel aging, however despite being cold the strength of the chicory is apparent. Wouldn't surprise me at all if this was BA French Quarter Temptress w spices and vanilla added. As it warms I get pumpkin pie spices the richness of the base really stands true- as stated a bit thin for a milk stout for my preference, but enjoyable and the mark of a brewery that is nothing short of on the rise and a Dallas institution.
