Copenhagen 20/1 2022. 35,5 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. White, purple and very patriotic can with a logo shaped like Texas and the Texas Star.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a mid-sized light beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a malty odor mingling with bitter black coffee and earth notes. Dark roasted malts, stale rye bread and dark chocolate. Hints of brown sugar. Leather and tobacco.
Soft carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Fairly light and simple - and not too sweet.

Feels pretty light and watered down. Better than the average craft porter from around here but still not what I was expecting.
