Using a rich blend of single-origin, 100% cacao chocolate and cacao nibs we have created an opulent experience that will excite your senses and please your palette. A rich chocolate aroma is balanced with sweet lactose and vanilla for a bittersweet finish.

This has a sickeningly fake chocolate taste. It really fails on all aspects. It is too thin for a stout and feels like the ingredients were some afterthought they bought for cheap.

Pour is black with a dark, thick khaki head. good retention.
Nose is bittersweet chocolate, sweet vanilla.
Taste is rich dark chocolate, a hint of smoke, vanilla. enough bitterness to keep the sweet lactose / vanilla in check.
thick, creamy body

Appearance: A dark amber body is surmounted by a modest, persistent tan head. The lacing is scattered and fine-beaded.
Aroma: Roasted malt notes vie with bitter cocoa and a bit of molasses. The alcohol presents slightly in the aroma, offering a mild spicy note.
Taste: The taste opens with bitter cocoa, a little cold coffee, and some molasses. As the taste progresses, the roasted malt and bitter cocoa really shine, with an under-current of cold coffee. There is a bit of sweetness, somewhat like chocolate malted milk balls. The rather high ABV of 9.1 percent presents only as a bit of warmth. Finishes with a lingering note of toasted and burnt malt, and bitter cocoa.
Mouth feel: Very full and soft, rivaling whole milk in its fullness, with just a hint of mild carbonation.
Drinkability/notes: A superb beer that would serve quite well as a pairing with rich chocolate desserts.
Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce brown glass long-neck bottle with a pry-off crown, served in a South American-style Pilsener glass. 1796:05292021
