Cake donut blonde ale aged in apple brandy barrels.
16oz can, no freshness date - purchased a the brewery on 9-18-20. Opened 11-25-20.
1/4" head fades away right away to a ring. Murky golden-brown. Spots of lacing.
Baked apple, cinnamon and a hint of boozy barrel wood. Caramel apple as it warms. Bold nose.
More of the same in the flavor...red apple dipped in sweet caramel, brown sugar, some cinnamon heat.
Creamy mouthfeel, medium body and low-medium carbonation. Semi-sweet and slightly boozy finish.
Fun but surprisingly serious beer. Very Good.
