12 fl oz can:
Pulp, melon, underripe fruit, rind-like bitterness, cantaloupe, "green" fruity notes. Pleasant enough and balanced enough.
A nice enough IPA, but not a top tier expression of the style.

Had high hopes but not impressed. Pours a murky orange/brown color with a yeasty tropical nose. No head to speak of and almost no foam at all. Taste is overwhelmingly banana and pseudo mango forward with a nice DIPA type bitterness on the back of the tongue. Mouthfeel is heavy and very medicinal. I'd swear this was a DIPA in a blind tasting.

I saw Alesmith with this can of Lakewood’s so I figure I’d try this single. I didn’t realize until well later that I grabbed yet another “hazy” ipa, a style I’ve quickly tired of. Oh well.
Pours hazy orangish. Not sure where the head or lacing is, at all.
Nose is pleasant for a change, actually smelling like a Brett type farmhouse ale with plenty of old furniture covering up any hints of tropical fruit. That part makes me wish I grabbed that style instead.
Okay the taste is a nice change here. Evidently this collab. involves a couple of hops I’ve never heard of. The banana notes must contribute to the odd notes, but it works nicely enough. Mango and tropical citrus figure in here too.
Mouthfeel is medium-full, almost pulp-like, yet zesty.
I could see enjoying this on a hot beach, but since I’m about to finish some lawn work I think it’ll be even better.
