Appearance: A opaque dark amber body presents a small dark tan head, somewhat coarse, but with very good persistence. Thin and patchy lacing adorns the glass wall.
Aroma: Roasted malt and bitter chocolate offer a strong presence, accented with vanilla, wood, dark caramel, brown sugar and espresso. The alcohol presents as vinous, with hints of Armagnac.
Taste: At the open, Bitter chocolate and roasted malt reign supreme. Soon after, there is a subtle wave of vanilla. Toward the midpoint of the taste, wood, caramel and brown sugar dominate. Late in the taste, bitter cocoa and char dominate the flavor. The ABV of 9.1% is notable only by its gentle warmth as the taste reaches its conclusion. The finish offers intensely bitter cocoa, cold coffee and char.
Mouth feel: Very full and soft, almost syrupy, with gentle carbonation. The head is pleasantly creamy, enhancing the notion of a dessert.
Drinkability/notes: Wonderful! A spectacular dessert beer that is an excellent accompaniment to chocolate desserts or even Oreos, and remains excellent when served alone.
Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce aluminum can, served in a La Fin du Monde tulip.

Poured from a can into a snifter
Appearance – The beer pours a deep brown color with a thick head of light brown colored foam. The head has a great level of retention, very slowly fading over time to leave a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strong of a roasted malt smell mixed with some dark chocolate and notes of sweet vanilla and crème. Along with these smells comes a little bit of a caramel and brown sugar as well some char and a touch of coffee.
Taste – The taste begins with a dark chocolate flavor mixed with some brown sugar and a rather sizable amount of vanilla crème. There is a nice roastiness as well, with some other flavors of a light coffee and toast flavor as well as a bit of toffee and molasses. As the taste advances the chocolate and vanilla crème flavors get more pronounced while the other flavors dwindle a bit, with the exception of the coffee. A light char and a touch of alcohol come at the end, leaving one with a nice dark and roasty chocolate vanilla crème sandwich like taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is a bit thicker and chewier with a carbonation level that is low and light. For the dessert nature and the taste of the brew the feel is nice and makes for a rather easy sipper.
Overall – A quite nice dessert brew that does have a big Oreo cookie like flavor. Not cloying at all, but rather balanced for a milk stout. Fun to try.

It is brewed with Lactose sugar, vanilla and cookie pieces. It is a bit too sweet for me, but it is easy drinking for an Imperial Stout.
Look: jet black with thick fluffy mocca colored head
Aroma: roasted malts, chocolate, vanilla
Flavor: roasted malts, chocolate, lots of milk chocolate, and vanilla. It is a bit sweet, and it does not have much bitterness and I taste no coffee.
Body/Overall: full body, maybe too sweet

L-Almost jet black with a thin lacy head. Some decent carbonation is there.
S-Sweet malt, chocolate, and vanilla right up front. Nuggety cookie and vanilla combine for a very nice Oreo aroma.
T-The taste follows the nose. Roasted chocolate malts result in an a nuggety Oreo flavor. Very, very sweet with a bitter bite. The chocolate and vanilla notes are heavy, but rewarding. There isn't anything off-putting about this beer at all so far.
F- Thick and milky as expected.
O- A very solid stout for an already reputable stout full brewery. The flavor is incredibly reminiscent of double stuffed Oreos, so it foes it's job. Well done!
