i believe they were calling this experimental bohemian pils when i was in, but it has to be the same thing, a hoppier than normal version, even maybe a new world dry hop on it, but super refined and delicious, i am certain this is the correct listing for this. looks like a pils in the tall narrow glass they serve it in here at the brewery, more than an inch of white tiny bubbled head captured at the top and locked in. the aroma is definitely hoppy, some fresh noble grassiness to me but also more modern green melon and generic citrus notes, and in the flavor the bitterness is kept more or less in style range, which is to say its present on the swallow but not a defining element of this beer, its slightly juicy and seems contemporary to me without being all double dry hopped and over saturated and all that. the grain is clean and fresh and light, european, mineral forward, fermented down to dry but well extracted and full character, and the yeast to me is minimal in this but not totally familiar either, seems slightly thiol boosting without the intensity that would be out of place in a beer this light, that could be the experimental aspect too, but im not sure how experimental this really is as it presents in the glass, its just slightly hoppy and slightly differently hoppy, but nobody is going to drink this and be floored by its uniqueness or anything. its quality though is another store, astoundingly clean, vibrant and bright, lively and fast, refreshing but flavorful, i love how the hops give this freshness and extend it a bit without making it out of balance. delightful drinkability, subtle dankness as it warms, a pounder with just enough intrigue. this could be a full timer for them.

L: Pours a brilliant straw yellow with a foamy white head that dissipates quite quickly and leaves some lacing on the glass.

S: Fresh toasted crackers and bready malt and a strong noble hop.

T: Medium bitter noble hops coat the tongue, followed by a backbone of cracker malt. Could maybe use a touch sweetness to balance the hops.

F: Light crisp and a easy drinking

O: This one is definitely east drinking and quite hoppy.
