Very clear, golden body; dense yet coarse carbonation, lively; fair head, fat, sudsy appearance; patchy blobs of foam cling to the glass. Classic German pilsner aroma; lightly toasted malt nose with a balanced counterpoint of noble hop scents; light grassiness. Light cereal grain sweetness in the flavor; cracker; light to medium hop bitterness; spicy, herbal hop flavor. Medium body; crisp; lightly sticky and velvety mouthfeel.
I consider this a very solid German pilsner experience. Malt-forward with a rounded sweetness and moderate hop bitterness and bite. A fine, crushable summer lager.
ABV: 5.8%; pouring temperature: 48°F; canning info: 06.28.24

New cans bought locally, canned April 17th 2025.
Pours a clear pale gold with over a finger of foam with very good lacing and retention.
The smell is noble hop like, aromatic, lightly spicy with toasted malt and a bit of bread.
The taste is earthy, spicy, grassy hops with toasted malt, bit of bread, so tasty of a bitterness. Munich style export Lager. Yum.

a top prost beer for me of late, but they are all so good. this is clean as they come, refined to a super high degree, a little less hoppy than some, dry as a dortmunder type goes, if in fact thats what its modeled on, definitely seems to fit the summer drinker bill without sacrificing its german authenticity. blonde, real light, clear, fizzy, and holding a near inch of white fizz pretty well from the tap, but i think this might be even brighter from the can! pale german munich type malt all day, fresh, faintly baked, mineral forward and with good water chemistry bringing out its best, a now familiar lager yeast in play, well used, and a light, not bitter, herbal to floral hop profile that fits the style but also makes this feel like warm weather beer, less spice, grass, and bite than some of these have, and way less body when i get to drinking it. not about to call this exciting, but it has a little more life to it and a bit more interest to me than a lot of its peers and its lightness is flattering. the hops have light lime character and even a hint of juiciness for being noble most likely, and there is only enough bitterness to make this finish briskly. wicked carbonation makes it supremely refreshing, which maxes when its ice cold, but this one warms up well too, stays tight, faint mid palate sweetness from the malt, a white bread note, and overall a clean minerality that makes it easy and thirst quenching. delicious beer, a lighter take on the style, perfect for summer. prost is banging some pretty epic beers out at the new brewery, get hip to it!

12oz can pour at MBBF. Pale golden pour , thin white head. Aroma is a nice light, sweet grain bill, bready. Taste follows with more of the full, mildy sweet bready flavors. Perfect summer quaff.
