From the bottle, it pours a slightly hazy golden color with a lusty head, which stays a good while. Lots of hops in the nose - not surprising as they used a lovely variety of Spalter hops: Perle, Select, Ariana and Hersbrucker Pure (I suspect they are all local!). The taste is lightly malty with a nice hop bite. Yum!
They call it a harvest beer as it is made with spelt (dinkel), barley (gersten) and oat (hafer) malt!
