Had this at the Strange Brew 2017 festival over the weekend. Pours a familiar color, that mixture of gold and amber, good clarity, small thin 1/3" white head when pro rated to a pint glass. Aroma definitely hits those chicken wing feels. There's the cayenne pepper aspect it seems, and chicken. The aroma really seems to hit what they were going for.
And the house of cards comes tumbling down. . . the taste here is chicken wing, but the light pale blonde body just doesn't jive with it, you're just overcome with spicy chicken instead of it having an effect on the beer, it consumes the entire beer. Perhaps something to pair with the spicyness in the way of a heavier malt bill, or some hops to pair along with it would make this an improved tasting beer.
