also known in english as wild card raspberry, this is the first i have seen or heard of these guys, and the beer is astoundingly good and quite affordable for what it is, i hope more of their stuff comes around, as this was real distinctive on the fermentation side, and i would love to get into others. this one is clearish ruby red, almost unnaturally bright in the glass, maximum color saturation, absolutely beautiful! almost a light coming through stained glass radiance to it, airy pink head, and just a little sediment at the bottom of the bottle. aroma and flavor are gorgeous too, super piquant with the natural tang of the raspberries right up front, enhanced by a clean lactic pucker and then a mouthwatering and mature wild element, wrapped in oak with an almost lambic complexity to it, just a little sweetness from the fruit as well, but fresh, not cooked, reduced, or jammy to me at all, ripe off the bush! some light lemon tartness as well, a little bretty mustiness, and just a real soft wheat influence, and some body from it as well. effervescent carbonation and real dry for how fruity it is. this is insanely good, has me wishing for wine grape versions, and is something i will buy again. impressive first beer for me from these guys, delightfully complex yet easy to drink, highly refined, super well done!
