Bootstrap Brewing

 

apparently they have recently opened a larger production facility, but this is for their space in niwot, the original location. super mellow in here, no frills kind of taproom, with a small bar, some inside space, and an expansive and relatively private outdoor area out back, basically in the center of town but off a quiet little side street. the brewery is in the back but fully visible from the bar area. they have eight or ten beers flowing, the staples that they can and a few others. i really enjoyed their golden ale, and have always been a fan of the beers they can. quality beer for sure, and a really relaxed vibe, sort of a blue collar feel which i like, and one girl behind the bar who was new, but friendly and informed too. there is really nothing about this place that distinguishes it from the huge mass of other brewery taprooms around the state, but the vibe is good and the beer is excellent, a staple of niwot now, and an increasingly available product. cool to see their modest and humble beginnings here, well worth stopping by if you are in the area or on the brewery circuit. very chill spot, time flies in here...
