a simple and well made gose, a little raw to me, but drinkable and good, oddly delicate, even for the style, but a beer that checks all the boxes, although perhaps somewhat less inspired and compelling than i have gotten used to with these guys. i also am quite sure i have seen several other breweries make beer by this same name, i guess the gose puns are inevitable and probably have to start doubling or tripling up at some point. in any event, its tasty beer, brewed with pink salt, full of minerals and it shows along with the wheat, giving this a crispness almost like it has been lagered which i really like, a high iron property or something, its cool, drying, and acts as the point of distinction in an otherwise rather samey beer. a little sweatiness to the lacto, but the sourness is light and this element seems sort of secondary. some lemon notes also highlighted by the salt, and more pils malt than wheat when i taste it fully. overall this is summer and tasty, a little refinement away from being awesome, but id drink a few of these in a sitting if given the chance...
