33cl Brown bottle poured into my 'La Chouffe' tulip shaped glass.
The beer was a reddy brown mahogany colour the tan head didn't stay long, it soon turned into a wisp and collar. Clear and clean with bubbles rising through, when held to the light.
Some treacle and malt molasses in the nose but both very faint and had to be sniffed out.
The sweetness from the aroma comes to the fore in the taste too, not sickly or nasty, but this is a sweet Bock.
Considering the ABV is 6.8% I was a little disappointed with the body depth and richness for the style.
Drinkable but not one of the better Bocks I've had.
