Our Brewmaster Adam first came up with this recipe when he was teaching a homebrew course, and it has since became a regular at our taproom. Light, creamy and refreshing, this witbier is a real thirst quencher. Named after the nickname of Adam's favorite UK football team.

Lovely clear pale yellow that's not quite as crisp/clean as it initially suggests (though looking at the style guidelines here, it's not nearly as cloudy as many within the style), but is still pretty lovely. Nice little fuzz of white head.
Nose is hard for me to describe in detail, but it has that typical wit-spice character that presents with some orange, some coriander, some acid, and some sweet doughy white bread.
Flavour is a little more subdued and feels like it's lacking something in the back third of the swallow. It leads with a lightly sweet crackery malt, then there's some orange blossom and a bit of an earthy character with yeast and honey before it gets a little bit watery to go with the mildly tangy/acid finish.
Carbonation is on the lively side, but not aggressively so.
Witbiers are not one of my favourite styles, so I'm not overly well versed in them. This one seems fine... perfectly cromulent, but isn't going to suddenly turn me into a witbier fan.
Thanks Sam and Stan (and Logan and Iris)!

Had on tap. Cloudy yellow body, white cap and lacing. Bright citrus, coriander, light wheat and flowers make up the aroma bouquet. Taste follows with some lemon zest added. Very nice wit but lacks a wheat dollop near the finish, bright and almost effervescent in texture. Gateway beer to the style. The wife liked it.
