Classic appearance for the style: carbonated orange-pineapple juice. Aroma and taste are similar, with lovely additional hints of mango, papaya, etc...Feel is soft and plush, like a pillow. The bitterness is mild, just enough to give it some welcome bite and complexity, but not too much to detract from the fine flavors.
Overall, this style of beer, when done poorly, can be really bad. But when done well, it can be exceptional. This is one of the good ones. And it is a worthy brew to bring honor to the great brewery which produced it for the occasion of its 5th Anniversary. Prost, Reuben's! May there be many more such celebrations to come...
