Poured into a Seattle beer week pint from a growler. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a half finger white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and dank hops, lemon, grapefruit, hints of cat and pine. Flavor is pale and mildly caramel malt, citrus, dank and piney hops, mixed citrus and berries, hints of mint and pine needles. Nice lingering near resinous hops with a little citrus rind and pine. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. This has some flavor overlap with the traditional Triumvirate, and exhibits the Mosaic fresh hop character well with hard to parse fruit flavors and suggestions of pine and dankness. A bit less herbal hop flavor than I expected from a fresh hop, but still well hopped from start to finish. There were complex flavors in the hoppy aftertaste that were enjoyable. A nice variant of this fine Bottleworks standard IPA.
