Clear amber brew with abundant foam in the Wander snifter. Quite fizzy and sharply carbonated along with the brisk acidity. Aromatic with orange, papaya, and piney boughs. Tastes of sweet fruit and bitter bark. Berries with lemon rind and a long bitter aftertaste.

This is kind of a slasher IPA with too much of a good thing thrown at random. Overall it's like a fruit puree fired up with serious carbonation. At least it's not hazy. From the 12 oz can purchased from Whidbey Beer Works. Not exactly fresh, dated 12/07/20.

Can from Uptown Market.

A clear light orange with a dense white head with good retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose has loads of papaya and guava, a really rich, rotting tropical fruit note, with no malt whatsoever. A mild fruity yeast flavor is noticeable. The palate opens clean, bright and tropical with lots of guava, passionfruit and papaya and super ripe jackfruit, to the point where it smells like a baby's diaper. Overripe mango. Light in body, moderately carbonated, this finishes super fruity with minimal bitterness. The tropical fruit notes here are overdone IMO.

This beer gets almost everything right. It's a solid, crisp, refreshing NW IPA, kinda citrusy, and piney with a tangy afterbite. The only thing I didn't like was that it was a bit too carbonated, which I don't like in a beer. Not enough to change the taste, but just the overall impression. I'd definitely have another!

12oz can served in a nonic glass. PKGD 03/24/2020

Look- Brilliant clear golden color. Small off-white head that quickly recedes to a thin cap of foam, decent lacing. Very active carbonation streams visible.

Smell- Citrus (tangerine and lemon), assorted tropical fruit (primarily pineapple), melon and berries, faint pine and herbal/floral notes.

Taste- Nice bright citrus, pineapple, melon and berries, sweet bready malts, slightly aggressive piney/herbal hop bitterness in the back end.

Feel- Medium/light bodied. Crisp and rather dry. Medium carbonation on the tongue.

O- Another nice offering from Reuben's. I'd like to see this one make the year-round list.
