A fine hazy. Nice tangerine and citrus. Moderate caramel malt, leafy bitterness. Doesn’t seem to come together all the way in some way, may be missing a hop addition for instance. Either way, drinks good but pricey at $4 a can for what you get.

On tap at the new John's Market location
The beer pours a hazy, almost murky, golden amber color with pretty good head retention and lacing. In other words, it looks like a fairly typical crush series IPA from Reuben's. The nose is attractive and a bit exotic I thought. While there's the expected underlying orange juice and light tropical fruit, I also got something of an onion and French fries aroma that was intriguing and bit unusual. Not bad all, just a bit unusual. On the palate this is pretty much all juice, though it's pretty well balanced with no heat from alcohol on the finish. I would call the mouthfeel medium bodied, and the beer delivers an impressive amount of flavor for such a low abv (relatively speaking). Drinkability is quite good, with a moderately long, fairly clean finish.
Nothing extraordinary here, but still, this is another pretty impressive effort from the folks at Reuben's.
