Clear dark amber brew with plenty of foam in the wide-mouthed glass. Rather tangy on the tongue. Moderate bitterness. Taste is grainy and stemmy. Some malty sweetness but a dry and woody finish. This is a more challenging kind of amber Lager if you like that kind of thing. I find it too gummy and astringent. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 11/04/25.

Thick and undulating, off-white head. Clear, light golden chestnut look. Subtle, lightly toasted wood, with the slightest amount of medium toasted caramel malt, for the aroma. A bit of a woody sharpness to the taste and a generally, medium toasted wood flavor, as well. It is quite dry and has a medium light body.
