Pours black with a finger of light tan head. Aroma is roasty, toasty, and earthy malts with big chocolate and coconut behind. Bourbon adds a big hit of booze, but remains smooth. Flavor profile is roasty, toasty, earthy, and caramely malts. Coconut hits in waves, as does bourbon. Really strong stout with some punchy, aggressive toasted and raw coconut underneath. Mouth feel is thick and full with a slightly silty texture. Overall, a big time stout that tacks on the flavor and presence via coconut. Despite the ABV, this one is smooth.
