Lionshead Kellerbier is a fresh and crisp kellerbier brewed with unique Mecca Grade malts from Oregon. During the Lionshead fire last year Mecca Grade produced a unique batch of their Pelton pilsner-style malt and we've brewed a clean lager to highlight the complex flavors of barley malted during an Oregon wildfire season. A portion of proceeds from this beer release will be donated to support wildfire relief in the West.

Had on tap. Clear pale gold pour with a white cap. It is a good gateway kellerbier as the floral and grassy botanicals are constant but lighter for the style, especially in the taste. Biscuit and general yeast contrast and accent in a delicate way. Feel is light, bright, medium-light bodied, and shaped by the botanicals. The wife liked it.
