This beer pours a light golden color with a fairly large white head. The aroma is mild malt, yeast and hops. Taste is crisp, bubbly and a minimum hop bitterness to the finish. Good for an IPL. 50 IBUs DOB 10-25-2024

Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 11/22/24; this is from the 2024 Reubens advent calendar.
Appearance: light golden hue with a mostly clear body and two fingers of pillowy ivory foam atop.
Smell: malt is crackery in character and a bit on the dry side; hops are earthy and a bit herbal and perhaps even a dash minty. Seems pretty decent.
Taste: there’s kind of an overbearing earthiness to this one; the malt is a bit sweeter than the aroma, but even with that the hops are kinda musty and dank (but not in a juicy way). It’s not bad or anything — just not really my jam.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decnet carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I think this beer goes a bit astray. That said, it’s by no means terrible … I just wouldn’t order a second one, you know?

Poured from a 12 ounce can into a tulip glass.
Look- Pale straw, mildly hazy, no visible particulate, white frothy head, average head retention, slightly below average lacing.
Smell- Pine resin, grapefruit, medium strength of scent.
Taste- Grapefruit, clementine, pine resin, medium strength of flavor.
Feel- Between thin and medium body, average carbonation, moderately bitter, moderately creamy, crisp finish, highly dry finish.
Overall- This beer was pleasant, but nothing really stood out about it. The flavor was a bit grapefruit heavy for my palate. The body could have been more robust. It was a cross between a West Coast IPA and a Lager. This beer would have definitely hit the spot on a hot summer day.

12oz can (canned 8/19/2022) into a tulip. Pours a clear golden color with a nice frothy white head.
Aroma is citrusy, piney hops, with delicate floral notes underneath. Clean and subtle, not a hop bomb.
Taste is likewise nicely balanced between the pale biscuity malt and the hops. I might classify this more as a pale ale than an IPA, but it’s light and refreshing, great for a sunny summer afternoon.
Mouthfeel is likewise light and refreshing with a clean finish.
Overall a straightforward, understated beer. Very nice.

Look: Clear pale yellow with a pure white head that starts to build but instead holds as a lid, before settling to a film and leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Lemon-lime, mandarins, pine, light berry notes, kumquats, bready malt notes, and passionfruit
Taste: Starts off the reverse of how the nose presented – huge tropical fruit and berry notes jump out front and soon following, waves of citrus fruit. Conifer notes – pine and fir, intertwine along with the malt notes until citrus regains momentum on the close
Mouthfeel: Full but light, very clean throughout, medium-high carbonation, and a mildly dry finish along with a light hop bite
Overall: I dig it. Another ‘Cold’ IPA and follows suit with others I’ve had in that it’s good and I am definitely into this substyle. A great mix of citrus/berry/tropical fruit on both the nose and taste and as a huge lager fan in general, I love how the clean and almost crisp mouthfeel seems to make the hops pop more without the [strong] presence of the yeast esters that become apparent at warmer temps

12oz canned on 09/02/2021. Sample from the brewery. Sorry, Reuben's! It got lost in the beer fridge.
Looks neatly translucent when poured. Pale, straw, golden in color, touch of chill haze that dissipates as the beer warms, and a super creamy head that sticks and drops rings of lace with each sip. Nose is clean with light floral hops, light fruity esters, and citrus. Lush, smooth, and über creamy on the palate with a semi-crispy edge and light, but firm, body. Hoppy, bright, citrusy, with a splash of grapefruit and pine. Touch of honey and crackery malts. Bitter finish.
I was hoping for a bit more crispiness, but other than that this is a damn good beer, Incredible head retention and mouthfeel, cleaner than most IPAs, but still hoppy, and insanely crushable.
On a side note, I love the "Cold IPA" trend (fermenting IPAs at cold temperates, like lagers) and would love to see more experimentation. Brewers: Sign me up as an official tester. Thanks.

Pours a lovely crisp pale pale yellow with a good two fingers of rocky white head. Beautiful lacing down the glass.
Nose is lightly sweet hops... maybe somewhat floral and some sweet grains. I should let it warm up a bit as I'm currently taking the title too literally!
Flavour when cold offers much of the same as the nose... citrus and lightly floral sweet. Some honey sweet to the malts, but not as grainy as the aroma. I'm not usually huge on centennial, and I think that's kind of what leads the charge here, but I think they do a good job with it and I find myself enjoying it more than I usually do that hop.
Clean body, moderate at best carbonation, and the finish gets citrus acidic and maybe a little bit oily green, but enjoyable overall.
Tasty. Nothing mindblowing, but certainly enjoyable!

Yes, it's quite frosty out of my refrigerator. Pours with abundant foam in the tall goblet but a light body. Color is the classic Lager golden yellow. Aromas of lime and pine. Some citrus peel in the taste. Interesting woody and even musty finish.
Well, okay, it's a Lager, but very hoppy so they don't want to call it that. Is this somehow creamier in the mouth than if brewed with Ale yeast? Quite lush in any case, but the bitter aftertaste makes it good for just a few sips. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station.

Stay Frosty IPA™ from rueben's. This is a "cold india pale ale", though I'm not sure what was wrong with the term IPL, which exactly matches the description of this beer.
Beer is pale yellow in my pint glass, nearly clear, and topped with a massive white head. It certainly looks like a pale lager, and it even has a bit of pilsner in the aroma. Flavor has a crisp, lagery profile with a healthy lemon-citrus pith bitterness. Drinkable, and enjoyable enough, but not my favorite IPL. I don't need this much authentic lager flavor in my IPL.
