16oz can purchased at the north Spokane Total Wine. According to the stamp on the bottom of the can, this was canned on October
Poured into the glass, this was a clear, russet color, with a more rubyish look when held up to direct light. Good-sized, beige colored head. Sporty lace.
Moderately spicy nose. Presumably the orange zest, but there's a bit of rye there, too. Very slight sweet aroma present as well. That's presumably the cocoa nibs.
Rye malts and orange zest is quite a bit more prominent in the flavor than in the nose. Cocoa nibs provide a background sweetness. Lightly dry at the swallow.
Medium bodied, with a slightly oily mouth feel.
I rather enjoyed this. Different from most of the holiday-esque beers that I have had for a while. Kind of reminds me of old school Christmas beers, before most Brewers fell into the habit of making copies of Celebration Ale. Around 3 months old, but still quite drinkable stuff. I'd hit it again.

Look: Chestnut Brown. Nice thick cream head
Smell:I really couldn't detect any smell
Taste: Hoppy like an IPA
Feel: Light, watery
Overall: I couldn't taste orange zest or chocolate as stated on the can. Maybe just a bad tasting day for me
