Crush the Slopes Hazy IPA has a massive run of hops all hitting this beer on the cold side, providing a theoretical IBU of zero and extra expressiveness on the nose and special full-bodied juiciness

Pours a hazy amber color with plenty of foam in the goblet. Pleasant aroma of peach and mango. Thickish mouthfeel but sudsy. Juicey flavor, moderate sweetness, the usual orange but not overly strong. Overall this is a decent Northwest version of the hazy IPA-- less juice and less acidity. Or to put it another way, a decent fruity taste without the features that can make NEIPAs so obnoxious. From the 16 oz can. Dated 01/07/25.

I had this on tap in a big pub glass at the Reuben’s taproom in Fremont.
Appearance: medium golden orange hue with plenty of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: a bit sweet with a nice combination of orange and passionfruit. I really like it.
Taste: moderately sweet malt with orange peel, passionfruit, and a bit of a dank note. It doesn’t come together quite as well as the aroma, but it’s still a good flavor.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a perfectly cromulent hazy IPA. I’d order it again.

Pours a dirty hazy golden color with a decent head and carbonation bubbles in the head. Aroma is lemongrass and citrus zest as is the taste with a light malt backbone. This beer has a medium body and mouthfeel, with an odd note of flavor. Can't quite explain it. Rated 3-19-2023

the label on these cans is awesome, and this is definitely the best of the crush series that ive had so far from them, really great hop complexion too, i wish they told us what varietals they used. cool that its so low bitterness, but the hops totally dominate, very modern, very well refined, extremely impressive, frankly its up there with the best beers ive ever had from these guys, which is saying quite a little bit. not super hazy, really bright yellow in the glass, expansive white head on it, looks well refined for a hazy and rather light. the aroma rules, my favorite part of this i think, ripe cantaloupe for sure, key lime, and juicy ripe pineapple, some meyer lemon there too, super fresh and punchy and way up front, i wonder if there is a hop hash or a cryo product or something in this, pungent and really with an early start. some peachy stone fruit character in the nose, more ripe melon, sweet navel orange, papaya, and an out of the way grain profile thats real dry but adds some fluffy soft body to it, enough to support all the hops in here. its almost shockingly low bitterness, but still crisp, zero greenness or bite either, this has none of the over dry hopped characteristics. slightly resinous and weedy, this has some staying power on the palate, and as it warms more of the tropical side of the hops come out. the freshness is amazing, the nuances in the hop profile are exciting, southern hemisphere to me, but also northwestern at the same time, very dynamic. the lighter body for this is nice, its just enough, and the high carbonation is perfect for it. they market this like a winter beer, but it would work in any weather, a total drinker as the hazy ones go. really, really good!
