When a beer tastes its best, we like to say it's spot on. Striking just the right balance between malty character and hoppy complexity, Spot On IPA combines tropical notes of pineapple and sweet citrus with a clean, crisp finish.

had at Mahoney's Public House yesterday. Pours a light clear golden color with very little aroma, but a nice white head. A nice taste of light grains and citrus with some sweetness. Quite good. 50 IBUs Rated 1-12-2024

12oz can (packaged 12/21/2023) into a tulip. Pours a clear golden color with a clean, frothy white head.
Aroma is classic West Coast IPA—tropical fruits, citrus, pineapple. If I had to guess I would say Simcoe is involved.
Taste follows nose. Pale neutral malt with a subtle sweetness balanced by the alpha acids in the hops. Pretty high IBUs here. More tropical fruits along with a slight graininess. Almost has that lively, “green” quality you get with some fresh-hop beers.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, very drinkable. Crisp finish. Hops leave a bit of a tingle on the insides of my lips and tongue, like spicy food.
Overall a solid, well made IPA. Not bad for a somewhat random choice at the local market.

A very sweet smelling ipa almost like pineapple. Good balance of malty and hoppy. Not to bitter and a crisp clean finish. I would buy this again.

Attractive clear amber brew with abundant foam in the Hopleaf goblet. Pleasant aroma of tangerine with a hint of grapefruit in the nose. Clean and fruity taste with moderate bitterness. Some malty sweetness to start and a lively bit of acidity, but still mellow overall. Some green melon flavors and a citrus finish. HIghly sippable robustly hopped brew. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Date illegible.

12oz can purchased at Huckleberry's, in Spokane, WA, for $1.99. It had a canning date on it, but I forgot to reference it when I initially reviewed it, and now the can is in a recycling bin at my friends' house up the hill.
Poured into a can glass, this was a chill-hazed dark golden amber color. Modest, off-white head. Thin, streaky lace.
Tropical fruit-like hop notes in the nose. Slightly crackery malt aroma.
Fruity, like in the nose, up front, with a peppery bitterness in the background.
Light-to-medium bodied, with a slightly crisp mouth feel.
A nice but not stunningly so example of a PNW juicy IPA. It's good enough to have a second one if handy while not being something I'd recommend going to much work to track down.
