Pours brown with a heavy fog from the first pour. The second (and final) pour from the bottle turned the translucency to muddy. Head is two fingers of dense khaki foam both times. Aroma is thick raisin, fig, caramel, brown sugar, and pecan. It has a semi-sweet aroma overall, with boozy undertones bringing back the balance. Toasty malts underneath. Flavor profile is more thick raisins, toffee, fig, and caramel. Pecan is much bigger here than the aroma. Brown sugar is sandwiched between toasty, caramely, and mild nutty malts. Semi-boozy, barrel, and char adding some depth and 'oomph'. Mouth feel is thick with a consistent velvety texture. Overall, a thick, semi-sweet, with good booze. Alcoholic pecan pie.

Served from a 22oz bottle. Reviewed from notes.
