Rich and chewy with a blend of comforting spices that add a zing of flavor, this holiday offering has everything you'd want from its namesake—minus the hard white icing of course! Expect notes of spicy cinnamon, sweet vanilla, pungent clove, and bright ginger.

Poured from 16oz can into my BeerAdvocate teku. Canned 11/14/24; this came in my 2024 Reuben’s advent calendar.
Appearance: entirely black with a finger of creamy dark-tan foam. Very pretty, but I do wish the head would stick around a little bit longer.
Smell: a really rich, sweet, and lovely malt and chocolate aroma, with just a bit of ginger layered in. I like that the ginger is not overpowering! Of course, it’s super duper sweet, but still it’s pretty enticing.
Taste: the ginger is more to the fore in the flavor than in the aroma, but it’s still relatively subtle. The hints of cinnamon are nice, and of course the underlying beer is ridiculously sweet, rich, and malty. There’s some booziness creeping in too, but that’s to be expected. Pretty darn tasty.
Mouthfeel: thick body with a good carbonation and a lovely, rich, smooth, delightful creaminess! Upon reflection this might be the creamiest beer I’ve ever had. Just amazing.
Overall: dang, with that sweetness comes just an unbelievable texture. Gonna really enjoy sipping this guy for the next few hours.
