Guided by a few of the Southern Hemisphere hop varieties that we have especially enjoyed, this Kiwi-inspired beer is pale and dry with a soft malty character. Double dry hopped for additional aroma, it offers notes of pineapple, peach, passionfruit, and citrus.

neat hoppy lager with new zealand hops, impressively clean and bright and good, if this isnt a year round beer for them, it should be, i would drink this one all the time, very modern and on trend, very well executed! not sure they call it an india pale lager, and the bitterness is lower in this than i generally expect in those, almost more west coast pils here to me, there is a difference and i can taste pils malt in here, but whatever i guess. yellow in the glass, bright without being perfectly clear, average white head from the tap, consistent carbonation. the nose on this is awesome, fruity and distinctive, to me notes of lychee, papaya, kiwi, honeydew, and zested orange, with subtle white florals, juniper, and tea, very fresh and nicely dosed, bold without being bitter or green, this is still clean and easy. the flavor is great, yes there is some pils malt keeping it balanced and a little bit of appreciable lager yeast character as well, but this is all about the hops, a big dry hop on it, layers of melon rind, honeysuckle, green papaya, jasmine, clover, and green grape, super good, and it all happens quick, this is dry and gone pretty fast on the swallow, thirst quenching, moderate bitterness, very well lagered no doubt. not unexpected from these guys, but this is wonderful beer, i adore the hop profile and intensity, love that the base beer can hold all these hops up, and the low alcohol is right on for summer too. i hope to drink more of this one, i like it a whole lot! juicy and distinctive.

Draft at Hops & Bottles. Golden pour, fine skin of head, solid lacing. Fruity aroma, citrus. Taste adds some floral, soapy notes, pineapple, zesty, mouth coating.
