On tap into a 12oz goblet @ the brewery. Pours a clear golden color w/ a thin white head.
Aroma is a blend of Belgian yeast and spice, summer tree fruit.
Taste follows nose. Lots of spice, fruity pale malt, Belgian yeast with a hint of bubblegum. Not a ton of complexity or depth, but tasty and drinkable enough.
Mouthfeel is where this beer falls a little short. Carbonation might be on the low side, making it feel a little heavy.
Overall a pretty good Belgian pale, just not quite in the same league with the great ones.

Had on tap at Reuben's. Review from notes.
A: Pours a hazy golden color with a small off-white head, minimal retention and lacing.
S: A fruity aroma, some banana, pear, and apple mixed with some light spice - cloves and a little but of pepper/rye.
T: More banana forward compared to the other fruits that were present in the aroma. Stronger spices as well, the cloves mostly. Bready malt mixed in.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: A solid BPA, easy drinking.

I had this beer on-tap at WABL Belgianfest 2013 in a snifter taster glass.
Appearance: mildly hazy cider-gold color with a little bit of haze and a short ivory head.
Smell: sweet orchardy aromas of apple and pear; very clean. Not a lot of complexity, but I rather like it.
Taste: like the aroma, apple and pear character. Added to this is a light toastiness which provides a dry counterpoint to the sweeter fruit flavors. Balanced and tasty; I like it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and a decent creaminess. As satisfying as it needs to be!
Overall: this is a simple, straightforward beer. I also happen to really like the subtle pear-apple flavor combinations in paler Belgian-style beers, so this brew just rubs me the right way. I look forward to having it again if possible.
