got this on tap at the lib. club on RAF lakenheath, so it was more than likley an export. It was poured in a plastic cup since everyone had used up the glasses earlier in the night. Poured and looked like a watered down guinness. Had strong smells of chocolate/toffe with bananas. Same on the taste. I though the bananas was just my taste buds, but my buddy said he tasted the same. I won't hold it agianst them that it is brewed in N. Ireland. it was pretty tasty

Served at the "Warsteiner Forum," St. Petersburg. Hey, theres globalization for you. The Russian barkeep in the dirndl made a well-practiced and patient pub pull. The beer was suitably dark under a tan and lacy head. But it smacked me with that same sour orange taste I got with the Millstream stout. This one tasted more like a bacterial contamination, as in perhaps they havent maintained their lines very well.

Served at a Moscow Mexican restaurant/bar that had a decent selection of international macros. This was by far the best choice. Came out a deep dark clear burgundy under a one finger tan head that was very creamy and full of body. This head lingered literally to the bottom of the glass (with 1/4 centimeter of liquid left, there was still 1/2 centimeter of foam!). Beautiful sheets of lace completed the visual experience. The nose was way too mild, however, to the point of being almost imperceptible. The mouth was heavily carbonated, and heavy bodied. The taste was about right - roasted malt, almonds, plums and cherries. The finish had some hops, but not enough for my taste. The aftertaste was roasty, with a touch of bitterness. A solid product, but nothing spectacular after the great optics.

Pours a black colour, topped by a thick creamy tanned head that did not settle until i finished my beer. It's not as heavy as Guinness and it goes down quite easily. The flavour is the standard Stout flavour with coffee hints. Thick mouthfeel. Great Stout
