Like most of the takeaway beers I bought in Phuket in January 2026, I grabbed this one from a random 7-11 on a random street while randomly wandering the city. I drank it a day or so later.
L: Dark amber, with a bright white head that quickly subsides to a smatter around the edges. Lots of bubbles in the glass.
S: The nose is very malty, with mild, citrusy hops.
4: Very malt-forward, with citrus peel hop notes taking a backseat. There's a little bit of minerality in the body, but it merges well with everything else. Bitterness lingers retronasally, moving towards grapefruit at the very end. As the bitterness washes away, the sweet malt reappears.
M: The beer's body is smooth and velvety. Carbonation is minimal.
O: This was tasty and refreshing after a day touring Phuket.
Cheers!

The Lao people are incredibly proud of their national brew ..and it's not bad , just another lager perhaps , but better than many .. perhaps the heat and humidity of the Country means it goes down a treat
Becoming easier to find elsewhere too , it's available in many parts of Thailand

I found this at 7-11 in Phuket Thailand. So glad that this company is branching out and trying new styles. I was really Impressed when I found it. Not overwhelming in any regard except the fact that they tried, which makes me proud of them.
