Pours a thin head on a clear straw body.
The aroma is pine, lemon and grapefruit.
The taste is balanced grapefruit and pine bitterness with just enough sweetness.
The texture is thicker for an IPA.
It's a wonderful drink.

Really a stunning example of the west coast IPA, very new wave, made special by copious late kettle and dry hopping. This is loaded with citra type hops, juicy and clean, only bitter enough, and not bogged down by grain weight even though it's as strong as it it. Summery hop taste and aromatic both. It's thirst quenching and lemony with just a light Christmas tree character. As well made in my opinion as any of the other California big boys, this is just great IPA. My first beer from these guys is highly impressive!
