32 ounce growler
Served in a becker glass
This beer pours brown with ruby highlights. It is topped with three inches of tan head that leaves little lacing.
I get notes of caramel and cocoa.
The taste follows the nose. I get a healthy dose of cocoa with hints of caramel. I let it warm as my friend suggested to bring out more of the apple fritter flavor, but I fail to taste the apple.
Medium to full mouthfeel
This beer really hit the spot on a cold, rainy autumn day. It was like comfort food in a glass.
