This light and refreshing beer has a slightly tart flavor with a noticeable citrus punch. If you're a fan of Hefeweizen or Belgian Wit, you'll find this wheat beer a bit more balanced and even more satisfying.

From BeerAdvocate magazine Issue #77 (June 2013):

LOOK: Hazed golden straw, decent lacing

SMELL: Bready, fresh wheat, lemon pith, nutty yeast

TASTE: Kiss of crispness, very malty, hint of alcohol, light hopping, loaf of bread, lemon pith, slightly grassy, faint warmth; modest peppery, herbal hop; semidry finish

A solid brew through and through. A hard style to tackle, especially when many beer geeks have little if any respect for it. Staying true to the origins of the style, Prospectors keeps the hopping to a minimum, and it works.
