Barrel-Aged Red Eye

Poured into a snifter it has a hazy amber brown body with off white slight beige head of an inch. Smell of citrus, spice, lemon, grapefruit, cherry, bit of bisciut malt, apricot, hay, and tart melon. Taste is much the same, spice, big citrus lemon, bit of alcohol, cherry, bit of tart melon, cranberry, some hay, and a bit of a dull earthy flavor as it heats up. Mouth feel is moderate to full with a moderate body and carbonation. A great spicy wild ale, don't think it was intended as a wild, but became a fantastic one. The feel was a bit too rough and too much heat are my only problems with it.
