Pours a dark amber with a minimal head that disappears quickly. Aroma of roast coffee. Taste of roast coffee with caramel and chocolate. Mouth feel was a bit light.

A easy drinking simple porter with nothing fantastic going for it. Not the best porter I've had not the worst. If you like a super easy drinking porter with a lighter body and not much flavor besides some slight malt characteristics then this ones for you.

The Delta Porter is a solid offering at EagleMonk. The beer poured a dark clear amber with very thin slightly off-white head that did not lace. The scents included sweet malt and hints of roast and espresso. The taste was a solid roast and earthy base with hints of caramel and chocolate malts. The mouthfeel was lighter in body and subtle carbonation. If I had one criticism of this beer is that I would like it to have a creamier body...I like porters with a bit more body. Overall it was a solid beer and certainly worth a try.
