Pours a dark brown, appearing black in the glass. Thin head with medium lace. The aroma is roasted malts and hints of chocolate. The taste is coffee, roasted malt, and bitter chocolate. The mouthfeel is smooth with a medium body. Overall, a great example of an oatmeal stout!

Poured black with thin tan head no strong smell, tasted toasted oats with subtle chocolate notes, really like the oat forward taste .

Appearance: Arrives fudge brown with a modest beige head that fades somewhat quickly while leaving a few dots
Smell: Chocolate and modest roast tones; a hint of vanilla
Taste: Chocolate fudge, up front, with some vanilla developing; a modest amount of bitterness builds in the middle but the primary chocolate flavors dominate the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; nice and creamy
Overall: A pretty nice beer from a brewery that is new to me; like the chocolate and creamy mouthfeel
