Maui Wowie Dankosaurus

As a fan of the Dankosaurus, this adds some more juiciness not usually found in the American IPA's I've tasted. It calms the hops a bit but adds the pineapple flavor so it's a nice trade off for fans of this beer in my opinion. There are more like this that we'll be rating soon like Poblano Pepper.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Poured from can into tulip, aggressive pour yields 1 finger cream colored head, so so retention, nice lacing. Bright hazy golden in the glass. Smells predominantly of pineapple, pine, slight citrus, sweet malt and an underlying dankness. Taste is a burst of pineapple and sweet malt, some mild bitterness at the end, and a lingering taste of pineapple on the finish. Mouthfeel is juicy, of the three Dank variants, probably not my favorite, but still a good beer
