Growler from Hourglass. Classified as a 'milk amber'. Shared at Proof. Great amber brown color with some fluffy tan head. Medium collar and good lacing. Aroma is caramel, lightly toasted malt and faint herby/floral hops. Taste is entirely too smooth. Almost so smooth that it lacks flavor; however, I do pick up some caramel, lactose sweetness, and earthy hops. Silky smooth mouthfeel, low carbonation and medium to rich body. Perfect session beer? Mayhaps.
