On draft at the brewery. Served in a snifter.
Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a half finger pale head. A persistent ring endures the whole way down but leaves no lace.
Welcoming aromas of lime, coconut and sugar with hints of vanilla. Quite nice and I can't get enough.
As predicted by the nose the flavors are bright and tart with lime, subtle coconut, a mild dose of simple syrup and a smidge of vanilla. Refreshing, delicious and delightfully drinkable.
Light body with fairly high carbonation. The lime dominates the finish but leaves room for trace vanilla and coconut.
I've never been much of a fan of the style but The Hourglass Brewery has made an outstanding and delicious rendition that I could drink all day. Very happy I decided to try this (a couple in a row, in fact) and just a tad upset that I'll likely never see this back home in Georgia.
