Enjoyed on-tap at the new brewery and room in Longwood, FL. Texican Red is a really fantastic brew that combines two of my favorite flavors into one beer. It features a good dose of smoke and a lot of heat from the peppers. In my opinion, the flavors mesh perfectly. Well done!

Website Description: "Bold red color with lightly carbonated, white foam and light head retention. Smokey BBQ like aromas with both Hickory and Mequite characters. Tastes of sweet smoke followed by a strong capsaicin punch in the mouth. Burning sweetness lingers for a good while and then you want more. Best served at 40 to 45 degrees. Ingredients: Maris Otter, Caraamber, Carafoam, Vienna..."

Highly impressive hybrid beer. Smoke up front and a serious chile spice burn that actually balances out by the end! Great tasting. I am a fan of spicy foods. You almost have to be to enjoy this one like I do. Best chile beer that I've had including Mango Magnifico.
